Our relationships with the Montanari family in Brazil support ecologically progressive agriculture (they are reforesting rather than deforesting) working to recreate a healthy ecosystem in Minas Gerais, Patrocinio.
In Nicaragua we have partnered with Caravela Coffee in Nicaragua to find a washed process, mixed varietal coffee from 65 small-scale coffee farmers forming the El Madroño group. This coffee adds depth and a little vibrant acidity to the otherwise chocolatey base of the Brazilian coffee from the Montanari farm Fazenda Rainha da Paz.
To round the blend off, we’ve added a 10% component of washed Ethiopian coffee from the infamous Jimma Zone to add more complexity and aroma through fruity nuances of apricot and mango
A blend that will take Manchester by storm!
